Search JoggerMom.com Eight Things to Know Before Making Your Next Stroller Purchase |
Pushing the right stroller while you exercise is almost as important as showing up to work out. Why work harder than you have to by pushing a smaller wheeled stroller. They are great for the mall or a casual walk but, not to exercise behind. If it is exercise you want then a bigger wheeled stroller will help guide you thru city streets and dirt roads with ease. January is always a big month for all of us to get back into shape after all of our Holiday get togethers. The average person puts on 7 lbs. during the holidays. That right there is reason enough to get back out and start exercising. Knowing that all of us need a little motivation I thought it would be great to have a few of the groups we have partnered with in mommy fitness tell us a little more about what they have to offer. Lisa Druxman of Stroller Strides, Andrea Vincent of See Mommy Run and Kristen Horler of Baby Boot Camp were able to enlighten all of us about their programs. As an added bonus with every stroller or accessory purchase you will receive a “First Class Free” card from Stroller Strides and Baby Boot Camp. This will give you a chance to try out the class in your neighborhood for free. Enjoy! I know you will be hooked after your first class.
It seems like there's a baby boom going on! Everywhere you look you see new moms and their babies. One thing those moms all have in common is their desire to get back in shape. In addition to taking off those pregnancy pounds, moms are getting a chance to connect with other new moms and to have fun with their babies! Stroller Strides classes take place all over country, with over 600 locations nationwide. Classes consist of power walking with intervals of body toning stations using the stroller and the outside environment. Even if you can't make it to a Stroller Strides class, you can follow these tips for getting back in shape. Call (866)Fit-4mom or go to www.strollerstrides.com to find a class near you.
